Departed - Carl Roth
1958-2018
June 28, 2018 3:30 AM:
Guys:
I received a bit of sad news this evening. Carl Roth, a long time member of the WOTHIHC family, has passed. Carl did not play last season, but, prior to that, was with WOTHIHC at least as long as I have been there. And his hockey pants were ripped the entire time, but somehow kept going. I have no information concerning funeral arrangements, but will pass on any that I receive. RIP, Carl.

Sorry to hear,  nice guy, always a smile....R.I.P

Hi all. Sorry for the sad news. Won't forget that awesome wrist shot of his. Stay safe.
Val Maleckar
Occasionally Carl would play defense with me - I always preferred that to playing against him.  Yes, I remember that wrist shot too.  He shows up on the 1995-96 roster.

I'm saddened but grateful to have met him and played hockey with him.  Cart you will be missed.  R.I.P.

Even though he hasn't been playing lately, many times Carl was the topic of conversations over beer at the Park Hill bar.  Let's keep it that way.  RIP Carl.  We miss you!

Though its been 10-12 years since I played, i remember Carl; his ripped to shreds hockey pants ( more like ribbons in flag football);  his wrist shot; and his patience with the puck.
A great Player, I nice guy, and a staple at Wothihc in those years for me.  Rest in Peace ...   unless you have a breakaway!
